Jerry is a mass communications expert with over 30 years of experience in branding, media, PR, research, sales and promotions. Clients include Sony, Budweiser, OP Sportswear, The Getty Museums, the MGM Mirage, Las Vegas and the US Festivals.
Prior to joining One Giant Leap, Jerry was Senior Vice President of Horizon International Media in Los Angeles, Vice President of Marketing for AquaHydrate Sports Water, CEO of Klein and LaBrucherie Advertising, and Vice President of Carat International Media.
Jerry is a seasoned marketing executive who has helped launch many brands into becoming category leaders, among them: Hansen’s Beverages, Corona Beer, Kinko’s, Pacifico Beer, Hawaiian Tropic, AquaHydrate, Cherokee Apparel, Van’s, ABC-TV; and promoted the famous US Festival which broke attendance records drawing over 1 Million spectators in a single weekend.
Under Jerry’s leadership, Klein and LaBrucherie Advertising won 3 national Clio’s, 5 Tele’s and 6 Belding Awards for generating break-through, compelling campaigns that built business.
Jerry’s management of numerous campaigns included growing Hansen’s beverages from $5 Million to over $100 million in 4 years; growing Cherokee Apparel from $25 Million to over $350 Million in 5 years; launching a new Mexican beer, Corona, and making it a household name in the West in just 3 short years.
Jerry also managed the national strategy which grew the DISH Network from a 10% share of the satellite market to 50% share in 5 years and helped grow Jack in the Box into a dominant category share of market in the western States.
Jerry received a B.S. in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Southern California. He remains a loyal supporter and is a frequent lecturer at the Annenberg Graduate School of Communications.
